Product Description
Profina™ CP (calcium propionate) is the calcium salt of propionic acid. Profina™ CP helps to preserve food by inhibiting the growth of spoilage microorganisms, thereby increasing shelf-life. In bakery applications, calcium propionate is used for protection against mold and rope bacteria with minimal impact on yeast activity and organoleptic quality.
